Bargain Disappointment

A couple of weeks ago, I bought this pair of flats at a Lakeforest Mall bargain store. As you can see, they're so cute but buyer beware.

I fell-in-love with the pink lining inside and also - the price, they were just $10. The shoes were comfortable when I tried them on at the store's carpeted floor, but when I wore them to work, the soles were so thin I could feel pebbles and even the slightest bumps on the pavement. They were so uncomfortable and provided no cushion or comfort for my feet. I couldn't wait to take them off. When I finally got home, I noticed that the pink lining is crumpled and torn.

Sigh, there goes my $10 down the drain.

  2. you know what they say about getting what you paid for? i bought a flip flops for 99 cents. so far i like how it is performing, soft and comfy. if i get a month's worth of use, i have my money's worth. such is the life of a bargain hunter.
