If you talk Barcelona, you talk architecture. I really enjoyed Barcelona and I was amazed at how stunning and fun this city is.

This is one of the buildings you'll see at the park entrance.
What a strange looking window - Casa Batllo
My favorite Guadi designed house, Casa Batllo, located at the Illa de la Discordia (Block of Discord)

The highlight of my trip, the Sagrada Familia Temple - another design by Gaudi.

ReplyDeleteI'm always in awe whenever I see Sagrada Familia photos. I hope I'd get to visit someday. Casa Batllo, I agree, has weird and one-of-a-kind windows. What do you call the third photo? I'm intrigued.
ReplyDeletethe Sagrada Familia looks so "different." it's fascinating!
ReplyDeletewow, really beautiful architecture!
ReplyDeleteI'm still dreaming to reach Barcelona someday, I've heard so much about it from some Catalan friends.
The pictures are gorgeous! I was in Barcelona a few years ago - but only for a day trip (we were staying elsewhere). Definitely didn't get to see enough!
ReplyDeletei think i'll be dizzy at the tilted walkways! ^-^
ReplyDeletegreat pictures as usual, strange but very charming architecture.
lucky you. i wish i could go there, too. spanish architecture is an interesting blend of styles, mostky dominated by western and moorish influences. and they have so many old structures there. do they have bullfights there?
ReplyDeletewhen you say barcelona, you mean gaudi. :)

Hi Kayni... I'm enjoying looking at your travel pics. I would love to go to Barcelona - your pics are lovely!!! Gaudi was a true master.... Hugs, xx
ReplyDeleteHave fun in London and Paris!
ReplyDeleteI was enormously impressed with the place too. Gaudà was an architect genius. Pity he was such a right-wing extremist catholic too.
ReplyDeleteVisiting Barcelona should be compulsory for everyone. It is a magical place.
