Exploring Frederick

It was supposed to be a quick ride to Costco. Unfortunately, this quick ride turned into a day of excursion. These photos were taken at and near the Monocacy National Battlefield, Frederick County, MD.

How many sunbathers do you see lounging on that log? (Gambrill Mill)

It's so easy being green (Gambrill Mill).

Come sit with me. (Gambrill Mill)

Swamp at the Gambrill Mill.

Beautiful houses and scenery.

Road to Sugarloaf Mountain.

Near the historic Best Farm.

A private lake.

Someone wanted to say "hello" or should I say, "Moo!"

Happy Friday!

  1. That bench at the park kinda invites me. Sarap magbasa ng book dyan early in the morning. And indulge in conversations too. Very nice with the sceneries and all. My kind of laid-back life.

By the way, I hope I'm right but are those sunbathing in the wood planks, turtles?
