All I Want For Christmas

I'm super excited about  All I Want For Christmas, an exchange gift swap between bloggers, which is being hosted by Prinsesa's Anatomy. Click here to read the mechanics and to participate.

Okay, here's my wish list:

Something small: a phone charm
Something big: kulinarya cook book
Something cute: stationery/writing pads
Something soft: teddy bear or hello kitty or kim sam soon's pig stuff toy :)
Something techie: blackberry
Something fancy: dslr camera
Something (insert your favorite color): pink or baby blue
Something wearable: necklace or bracelet
Something you need: a journal notebook
Something you can use for work: monthly planner (small size)
Something sweet: anything milk chocolate but milk pastillas, dates, kinder bueno, or cloud 9 will do

All I Want For Christmas:  I am not picky and I will appreciate any present(s) given. On the more specific side, I'd love anything pink/blue and cute. But for this Christmas, all I want is to be home with my family.

  1. This is cool! Kayni, if we are to send parcels in PI, is it true that they open it and sometimes even ask the receivers to pay? I find FedEx real good but not sure if they are still doing business in Pinas.

  2. @ eden, In my experience, some parcels never even made it to the recipient and I've also heard about the recipient being asked to pay in order for the parcel to be picked up. I'm going to look into LBC or other carriers, but if other carriers won't work, then I guess a registered parcel would do.

  3. I am joining this one too. Isn't it so much fun?

  4. @ Photo Cache, I am very excited. By the way, how will you send your parcel, in case you got one from the Philippines? I'm worried if the parcel will get lost or the recipient will be asked an absurd fee just to get a parcel from the post office.

  13. Eden/Kayni

EMS pinas, they ask the recipient to go to the office to pay something before pickup. i don't know why. even for a package that's less than $100 value, they still ask for some fee(?)..

while here in Korea, although mom sends me via EMS or ordinary mail (package), the packages get delivered. tatawagan pa ko ng post office kung nasa bahay ba ako at ide-deliver nila yung package sa given time, kkk....

  16. I hope I will be your swap partner so I can start working on the list except for the BB and few stuff haha. By the way, sending through the postal office to the Philippines I think is fine. But I heard stories that it still depends on the area/province. Merong mga greedy eh. It's better to send through Fedex minsan.
