Kayni's 2010 Highlights

I'm back from Hawaii and I'm not too happy about being back to work today :(.

Anyway, I still have to download photos and will share them with you soon. For now, I intend to share my 2010 highlights. 2010 was a wonderful year and I know 2011 will be even better.
  • January - I settled into my new house and learned all the new responsibilities of being a homeowner. Managing a house is not easy, but I love every minute of having a place to call home.
  • February - I traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico. I would love to go there again.
  • March - A chapter in my life was closed. A really good thing.
  • April - Witnessed the beautiful Tulips of Hershey, ate sweets at Chocolate World, and had a blast in Las Vegas with Bear.
  • May - Strawberry picking at Larriland brought back my memories of Baguio.
  • June - I lost my paternal grandmother. I miss you, Grandma!
  • May - Stress, stress, stress at work.
  • June - Finally finished renovating my home office. Also, my backyard vegetable garden proved to be a success. I can't wait for planting season again.
  • July - Visited the Roses at Hershey Gardens, stayed and relaxed at Intercourse, PA, and finally saw the Gettysburg Annual Civil War Reenactment. Also, this was one of the hottest summer ever - straight three weeks of upper 90s and 100s.
  • August - Enjoyed Washington D.C. restaurant week. Please check Edible Hunts for my food posts.
  • September - Visited Weng in Canada and marveled at Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
  • October - My first ER experience.
  • November - My first European cruise and traveled to Croatia, Turkey, Greece and Italy.
  • December - My entry to the PEBA 2010 Blog Awards, Outside Looking In, was awarded Top 3 and Outstanding Blog In Central America and Canada Region. And for the holidays, I flew home to O'ahu.

  1. A full year.

I was thinking of you and was wondering if you were one of those on the steps during the moment of silence today.

Really sad for the country and human kind.

  2. @ Photo Cache,

On my way to MD, I had a stop over at Phoenix, we also had a moment of silence at the airport. I agree. It's another sad story added to human history.
