Cold Start To Snowy March

March began really cold and snowy, and here was I hoping for spring and warmer weather. Here's a few of the scenes I passed through on my way to work today. My hope for early spring was doused with snow.

  1. That's a whole lot of snow! I do like how snow looks on trees though. Hope you don't have too much inconvenience with traveling/getting around because of the snow... Over in 'sunny' London (NOT), Spring definitely has not sprung and it's still freezing, so my sympathies to you ;) Hugs, xx

  2. Hi Lailaa, Yes, and it's still snowing the last time I checked. It was hard getting to work because I have a 20 minute walk to the train station. The wind was gusty too. I'm not too excited about my commute home. Hugs back.

  3. I love to see snow on pathways, but when there's a lot to shovel off, I cringe. I haven't experienced snow in my life yet, but it must be exciting to play in the snow and do some fun sledding...

  4. Sheng, I think it's a good thing I live in an apartment complex. They'd have to do the shoveling...lol.

  8. I know for a fact that blankets of snow is nice to look at in pictures and those are great shots btw. But actually walking in the snow is quite a hassle. Be safe, Kayni I hope that spring sneaks its way in soon! :)

  9. I'd love to experience that, too. But for few days lang siguro. Now I remember that you mentioned in one of your posts about your love-hate-love relationship with the weather. Snow is beautiful and not so good to some extent.

  13. The weather is definitely getting more unpredictable and erratic now. It's because of the Earth's condition that brought about all these changes. It just scares the hell out of me every time I see things like these. I hope the Earth will get better (with everyone's help) so we will have more sunny and wonderful days.

  15. It's so gorgeous. Is it hard to walk on though?

  16. Toni, It is pretty, but it is a struggle to walk through it. There are places that can be so slippery. A 15 minute walk would become a 30 minute or longer ordeal.
