Spring is still my favorite time of the year.
Since we missed the Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin this year, the lovely blooms in the neighborhood surely made up for it. A couple of weekends ago, we drove around our neighborhood and to the next town. We saw lovely blooming trees.

| At home, here's our double petaled Cherry Blossom tree on the front yard. It's a stunner every year. The Azaleas are starting to bloom as well. I'm so thankful for the person who planted these, as they were here when we bought this place. |
It's been a tough spring for all of us. There's been sickness, death, job loss, mourning, tiredness and more. Whatever we're going through, I do pray we'll find the strength and perseverance to get through another day.
It is my hope that when we finally get to the other side, we'll emerge as kinder, more accepting, stronger and united citizens of the world. After all, this is not a one man or one nation war, this is a fight that humanity must endure and win.
How beautiful all the blossoms are. I think everyone is searching for beauty during these troubled times. Stay safe and well.
