Before Spring 2020 Fades

Spring is still my favorite time of the year.

Since we missed the Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin this year, the lovely blooms in the neighborhood surely made up for it. A couple of weekends ago, we drove around our neighborhood and to the next town. We saw lovely blooming trees.

Can someone help me with the name of these lovely trees? They have beautiful white cluster flowers and they bloom first before the Cherry Blossoms.

I love this road.

Cherry Blossoms at peak bloom.

At home, here's our double petaled Cherry Blossom tree on the front yard. It's a stunner every year. The Azaleas are starting to bloom as well. I'm so thankful for the person who planted these, as they were here when we bought this place.
It's been a tough spring for all of us. There's been sickness, death, job loss, mourning, tiredness and more. Whatever we're going through, I do pray we'll find the strength and perseverance to get through another day.

It is my hope that when we finally get to the other side, we'll emerge as kinder, more accepting, stronger and united citizens of the world. After all, this is not a one man or one nation war, this is a fight that humanity must endure and win.

  4. Thank you for sharing such beauty, it certainly takes our minds of the current situation in this surreal world of ours.
I want to say the white blossomed trees are Bradford Pear trees, but not sure.
    Stay well and safe.
